Unarguably the less well known of the two Liverpool Premier League football teams, Everton has a strong more local fan-base than that of it’s rivals. It was also the first team on the block, founded in 1878 by St Domingo Chuch, Everton were pioneers of Football and one of the founders of the football league.
They started at Anfield before heading to Goodison, the first English stadium purposely built for football that also had under-soil heating.
